An attack on the First Amendment

On September 10th, 2025, we witnessed a heinous attack on our first amendment rights. A gunman identified as Tyler Robinson assassinated in cold blood, right wing moderate Charlie Kirk at UVU in broad daylight at a Turning Point USA rally.

What this means for the constitution.

Your rights are being attacked by those who do not wish you to exercise them. The Charlie Kirk assassination is a prime example of what people with hate and intolerance are willing to do when they are challenged to a different way of thinking. The greatest part of being an American is having the ability to create dialoged with those who you may not agree with, such as citizens or government entities. When individuals attack those god given rights they attack the constitution. We are now seeing a surge in conservative debate channels cancelling events and rally's due to the fear of being the next potential political assassination victim. The domino effect has started. September 10ths events mark the single greatest public breach of free speech in modern history. The State of our republic is now more than ever at its greatest risk of a total breakdown. With hate mongering and constant accusatory statements being made by voters and politicians alike, speaking out against perversion, alienation, and communism are becoming more and more dangerous. If these attacks continue and conversations are not had between each other violence will only continue to spread. We encourage you to keep talking. No matter what political side you represent. only with dialogue and open minds do we avoid war and civil unrest.

Our Stance

We are a constitutional Militia and as such we will always stand and support the constitution and the rights of American Citizens. We fully condemn the violence and intolerance displayed on September 10th, and any individual making a mockery of Charlie Kirks death. America has no place for communism. Or any communist actions taken by citizens to degrade or destroy the constitution of the United States of America.

In recognition of recent events

In the wake of the J6 Insurrection

The United States Unified Militia is in no way, shape or form affiliated with those who demonstrated at the capital on January 6th. We believe those responsible for storming the capital gave an egregious depiction of constitutionalist ideologies, and we in no way condone their actions or support them. We at USUM (The United States Unified Militia) do not partake in rally's, protests, or public demonstrations. We do not provide security, or private protection services at any of these events for civilians OR police.

A message to law enforcement

The United States Unified Militia has been and always will be comprised of law-abiding citizens. We have historically remained transparent with law enforcement agencies in and around our areas of operation. We just like you, do not believe in Militias interfering or encroaching on police business in any compacity.

It is for this reason that The United States Unified Militia has remained out of the way and out of the public eye since its inception in 2020.

We pride ourselves on remaining a pillar of how men and women can come together to exercise our rights without the bells and whistles so many of you know to be associated with the word "Militia"

We hold each of our members to strict codes of conduct related to uniforms, conduct, integrity and professionalism. We would ask that if you ever see one of our members in public not embodying these core values, to please reach out to us directly. While we understand this may not be your standard protocol, we above all others desire nothing more than to distance ourselves from less than desirable individuals.

We appreciate the joint cooperation and will continue to support and defend all peoples in their lawful duties to the United States of America.
